When the reins passed to his son, R. S. Jayakumar, the story only grew stronger.
Inspired by his father’s discipline and devotion, he ventured deeper into the world of jewellery manufacturing and wholesale.
It was he who gave the legacy its identity, its own name, Ashoka Jewellers.
Under his leadership, Ashoka Jewellers expanded beyond the borders of Coimbatore, becoming a trusted name across surrounding cities and towns.
Even while scaling the wholesale business, he remained deeply committed to his roots, serving his existing customers through a retail store known for quality gold at honest prices.
Three Generations. One Promise.
Today, Ashoka Jewellers, rooted in the 90-year-old legacy of the KRS Group, continues to flourish under the third generation, Co-Director R. C. Krishna Kumar.
What began as a young boy’s fight for growth is now a symbol of trust for thousands of families.
